The countertop that renovated the kitchen
The first call was small: replace one island top. But the new black quartz made the rest of the room look ten years older, and the owners decided to finish the thought. We kept the palette to two colours, because the space is compact: high gloss white slab fronts with no handles, and the same veined quartz on every counter and full height behind the sink. We hunted down a counter depth refrigerator that fits flush, replaced the floor with engineered hardwood, and handed the kitchen back three weeks after the design was signed.
