Where we work, and how far we go

One workshop on Thimens, one installation crew, and a map drawn around being able to come back the next morning if something needs recutting.

The twelve areas

Where we work

One workshop, one island

Everything we make is built at 4130 Boulevard Thimens in Saint-Laurent and installed by the same crew that measured it. That single fact decides our map. We work where we can reach a site twice in the same week without turning a small correction into a scheduling problem, which in practice means the island of Montréal, the West Island, Laval and the near South Shore.

The twelve areas below are the ones we are called to most, and each has its own page because the work genuinely differs. A tower on Cavendish and a triplex on the Plateau are not the same job with a different address. One is measured around a concrete bulkhead and a freight elevator booking; the other is measured around a staircase that will decide how big a cabinet can be. A Kirkland kitchen has floor area and an oak kitchen to remove. A Villeray kitchen has nine feet of width and a hundred years of woodwork to respect.

Beyond the twelve

We also work regularly in Longueuil, Laval, Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Outremont, Mont-Royal, Terrebonne, Rosemont and Brossard, plus most places in between. Our Terrebonne kitchen was delivered in 2025 and our Laval waterfall island in the same year, so the North Shore and the South Shore are not exotic for us. If your address is not on the list, call and ask. The honest answer is usually yes, and when it is no we will say that too rather than quoting a drive we do not want to make.

What is the same everywhere

  • A free measure at your home, usually within the week.
  • Elevations drawn in AutoCAD that you approve before anything is cut.
  • A written, itemised price fixed against those drawings.
  • Fabrication in Saint-Laurent and installation by our own people.
  • Ten years of warranty on the doors we make.

Not sure whether we cover your street?
Ask. If it is within about forty minutes of Thimens the answer is almost certainly yes, and if it is not we will tell you rather than quoting a job we cannot service properly afterwards.

Questions

What people ask about coverage

Do you charge extra to come further out?

No. The measure is free wherever you are inside the area we cover, and the quote does not carry a travel line. What distance changes is scheduling rather than price: in Saint-Laurent we can be there tomorrow, in Beaconsfield or Terrebonne we plan the day around it.

How far will you actually travel?

About forty minutes from Thimens is the practical limit, and it is not about the fuel. Beyond that a second visit for a small correction stops being reasonable, and small corrections are a normal part of fitting cabinetry into a real room. We would rather say no than deliver a kitchen we cannot come back to easily.

Do you work in condo towers?

Regularly, especially in Ville-Marie and Côte-Saint-Luc. We book the freight elevator with building management, send the syndicate a certificate of insurance in advance, protect the corridor and the lift, and work inside the delivery window the building gives us.

Do you work in walk-up apartments with outside stairs?

Yes, and it is a normal week in Villeray and on the Plateau. We measure the staircase and the doorways at the visit, size the boxes so they fit the turn, take doors off hinges and protect the banister. Tall units are built in two sections where the stair is a tight spiral.

Is the price different from one area to another?

No. A kitchen is priced by what is in it: linear feet, materials, drawers, integrated appliances and stone. What varies between areas is what people ask for. Kirkland kitchens tend to be larger, Villeray kitchens smaller, and downtown condos carry more integrated appliances, so the totals differ for reasons that have nothing to do with the postcode.

Can you handle a job outside Montréal entirely?

For a full kitchen, not usually, for the reason above. For a single element such as a vanity, a reception counter or a set of doors it is sometimes workable. Call and describe it, and we will give you a straight answer rather than a maybe.

Which areas do you work in most?

By volume, Saint-Laurent, Hampstead, Pointe-Claire and Côte-Saint-Luc. Those four cover a good share of a normal year, and the rest is spread across the island, Laval and the South Shore.

What services can you do in each area?

All eight, everywhere on this list. There is no reduced service in the further areas. The services page sets out what each one covers.
